Hair transplantation —
a career that set the standard
A first-generation hair-loss physician.
For nearly three decades, Dr. Hwang Jeong Wook has studied
hair-loss treatment alone and focused on transplant surgery alone —
helping shape the standard of hair-loss care in Korea.

Three principles
behind the career
- 01FocusOne path — hair loss only
- 02PrincipleStandards — no compromise
- 03ExecutionConcentration — surgery only
Loving simplicity and purity, I resolved to walk one path — hair-loss treatment and transplantation.
I closed my ears to news of colleagues making money and seniors growing their hospitals.
I became a first-generation student of Professor Kim Jung-chul and thought only of hair.
My one dream was to master hair transplantation.
For that, I devoted day and night to research and surgery.
Over time, will, passion and practice matured into confidence.

The path I walked as a first-generation hair-loss physician has quietly become a road for those who follow.
It often serves as a compass for doctors treating hair loss and for people living with it — the benefit of having walked ahead.
Perhaps that is why a sense of responsibility has taken root in my simple heart:
a duty to set the right direction for hair-loss treatment.
Drawing on the know-how of 130,000+ transplant surgeries,
the book distills only what is truly needed — for clinicians who treat hair loss, and for patients
exposed to inaccurate information — to help set the right direction for treatment.
Training System
The 10,000-hour rule:
an academy for transplant surgeons
At MOJELIM, a primary surgeon must first take part in at least 1,000 transplant surgeries.
Those 1,000 surgeries take 4,000 hours of experience.
Even at MOJELIM, where transplants run daily, that takes two to three years.
Medicine is the product of knowledge and experience — rigorous training before the scalpel is this clinic’s creed.
