FUT hairline correction

A strip of scalp is taken from the back of the head,
and healthy follicles are transplanted where needed
Only the follicles needed are extracted one by one
from between the hairs, without an incision
※ FUT and FUE differ only in how follicles are harvested — neither is overwhelmingly better.
The right method is determined by diagnosis, based on your scalp condition and stage of hair loss.

The MOJELIM FUT surgical method
Marking the donor strip
For a natural hairline, the strip is taken from the lower back of the head — where relatively fine hairs can be harvested — with its width and length set by the number of grafts needed.

Straight-line incision

U-shaped incision
MOJELIM uses a U-shaped incision to secure more follicles from a wider area. Because the incision follows the natural shape of the head, it also heals more naturally than a straight-line incision.

MOJELIM FUT Hairline Correction Q&A
- 01
Can I return to daily life the day after surgery?
Yes — both daily activities and shampooing are possible from the day after surgery.
- 02
How painful is the surgery?
Local anesthesia is administered after sedation, so there is very little pain during surgery itself, and any discomfort afterwards can be managed with painkillers.
- 03
Do I need to come back to the clinic after surgery?
We provide a shampoo service on the day of surgery, and a visit is needed on average on days 10–12 for stitch removal. If your schedule allows, we also offer a scaling treatment three weeks after surgery, though it is not a required part of care.
- 04
Could scarring appear where the hair was implanted?
Poorly performed implantation can leave depressed scars at the implant site. A well-executed transplant is one full cycle done without error: the surgeon's technique with single-use implanter pens, hair tidying after surgery, EGF application, and the mesotherapy and laser treatments that follow. The most important part of this cycle is the surgeon's technique — if the implanter pen is pushed in too deep for the scalp, a depressed scar can easily form there.
- 05
Is there pain after hairline correction?
MOJELIM administers pain-relieving medication before and during surgery, and prescribes a pain-control injection afterwards. As a result, pain during and after surgery is significantly reduced.
- 06
How long does women's FUT hairline correction take, and when are stitches removed?
About 4 hours, under local anesthesia with sedation. Stitches are removed on days 7–12.
- 07
When is FUT hairline correction the right choice?
It suits cases that need a large session, and the incision is closed with the hidden-scar closure technique. The right method — FUT or FUE — is decided in consultation, based on your scalp condition.
A differentiated surgical system

From consultation to surgery
One surgeon, start to finish
Q
Does the surgeon ever change to someone else mid-surgery?
A
At MOJELIM, your surgeon personally operates from the start of surgery to the end.

One surgeon takes responsibility for your surgery from beginning to end.
Because one surgeon handles everything from consultation to surgery, results are more natural with higher graft survival.
Medical staff at peak condition
Q
MOJELIM performs many surgeries — how do you manage your surgeons' condition?
A
Our surgeons follow a 'minimum surgery schedule,' entering every operation in peak condition.
FUT / FUE surgery
1–2 per day
Surgeries per MOJELIM surgeon, per day
A surgeon’s condition can affect the safety and results of that day’s patients.
To maintain personal condition and surgical skill,
each MOJELIM surgeon performs only one or two operations per day.
No inexperienced surgeons
Q
Could a new doctor be operating on me?
A
Even new doctors complete a two-year training period before performing surgery.

At MOJELIM, a doctor may perform surgery only after at least two years of training.
(Two years of residency after obtaining a medical license)
During those two years, each doctor takes part in about 1,000 surgeries (roughly 4,000 hours).
This training system is how MOJELIM promises consistently satisfying results, whoever your surgeon is.
The right team size
Surgical efficiency
Q
How many staff take part in a surgery?
A
Up to seven, for maximum surgical efficiency.

In hair transplantation, the golden time between harvesting and implantation is a key factor in graft survival.
To shorten surgery time and raise efficiency, one surgeon, three nurses and two to three follicle technicians —
up to seven staff — work on a single patient’s surgery.
