Unhappy with the result of a previous transplant?
MOJELIM revision hair transplant

The follicles at the back of the head
used for transplantation are limited in number —
and a failed transplant means harvesting yet more follicles.
That is why the number of transplants is limited.
Minimizing damage during harvesting and implantation is essential,
and every step — harvesting, separation, implantation —
must be handled skillfully so the surgery succeeds without failure.
If you are considering a revision, choose your clinic even more carefully
than the first time — more specialized, more systematic.
Where — and by whom — changes the result.
Why the choice of revision clinic matters

After a first surgery, the donor area often carries scarring, and the follicles already used leave gaps —
so fewer follicles remain at the back of the head, and harvesting more from soft-tissue-damaged skin
has real limits. That is why revisions demand advanced technique.
A more specialized, detailed surgical plan — and a skilled surgeon experienced in revisions —
are therefore essential.
How you implant matters more than how much!
Revision methods by case
Revision after poor graft survival
Cases where implanted grafts survived poorly, leaving density too thin and revision necessary

Low density has many causes — grafts damaged because scalp depth, follicle angle
and spacing were not considered, or follicles separated without dedicated technicians.
Most typically, graft survival fell and density came up short.

At MOJELIM, follicle separation is handled by technicians with at least 4 years of experience,
and a surgeon specializing in revisions works as one team with the medical staff — from healthy
harvesting to precise implantation — minimizing the follicle damage that can occur in surgery.

From diagnosis to post-operative care
A custom revision system
A revision must begin with an accurate analysis of why the first surgery failed.
We complete it 1:1, even more carefully than your first operation.

01
First and foremost,
we analyze and identify the exact
cause of the failure.

02
Then we design a custom plan around
your current scalp, the donor hair
remaining, and the line you want.

03
Surgery proceeds carefully, designed
to maximally improve the areas of
dissatisfaction and aesthetics.

Safe, systematic surgery and a
post-operative recovery care system
you can rely on.

Revision Hair Transplant Q&A
- 01
I've already had two hair transplants — can I have one more?
For revision transplants, we first confirm whether your case can be transplanted. After a diagnosis of your current scalp and hair condition, we can determine whether surgery is possible.
- 02
Can eyebrows or sideburn areas be revised too?
Yes. These areas use short, thick single hairs. During donor harvesting, single hairs — or thick hairs separated into singles — are used for the transplant.
- 03
How many times can revision surgery be done?
If donor-area damage is small, there is no fixed limit. A second or third surgery is usually safely possible; from the third onward, surgery may be limited to filling in gaps.

From consultation to surgery
One surgeon, start to finish
Q
Does the surgeon ever change to someone else mid-surgery?
A
At MOJELIM, your surgeon personally operates from the start of surgery to the end.

One surgeon takes responsibility for your surgery from beginning to end.
Because one surgeon handles everything from consultation to surgery, results are more natural with higher graft survival.
Medical staff at peak condition
Q
MOJELIM performs many surgeries — how do you manage your surgeons' condition?
A
Our surgeons follow a 'minimum surgery schedule,' entering every operation in peak condition.
FUT / FUE surgery
1–2 per day
Surgeries per MOJELIM surgeon, per day
A surgeon’s condition can affect the safety and results of that day’s patients.
To maintain personal condition and surgical skill,
each MOJELIM surgeon performs only one or two operations per day.
No inexperienced surgeons
Q
Could a new doctor be operating on me?
A
Even new doctors complete a two-year training period before performing surgery.

At MOJELIM, a doctor may perform surgery only after at least two years of training.
(Two years of residency after obtaining a medical license)
During those two years, each doctor takes part in about 1,000 surgeries (roughly 4,000 hours).
This training system is how MOJELIM promises consistently satisfying results, whoever your surgeon is.

Surgical efficiency
Q
How many staff take part in a surgery?
